Dear Colleagues- We now have updated model output to create additional profiles for use as apriori. This is from V4 of WACCM run in interactive mode, (like the previous run ie self generated winds) but now with full tropospheric chemistry. Output years are the same as the previous run, so the input to our apriori are monthly means from 1980-2020 interpolated to your sites as before. I am not suggesting this to replace all our existing apriori. But not excluding it, it should be very similar for most gases especially stratospheric species. It should be more representative for tropospheric species. It has the following attributes: 1. Fluorine species, lacking in the previous version eg HF,COF2, COFCl and many CFC's HCFC's as well 2. Many trace species including many NMHC. HCN and C2H6 that were taken from a 3y WACCM run should now be modeled better in this 40y run. aPriori from this run should replace those earlier profiles. 3. Many other trace species - see attached list. This run has been produced for the current SPARC CCMI validation program and the results will be published. Before new profiles are generated please do two things and respond to me soon. 1. Look at the list of sites (attached) if there are mistakes or sites to be added please let me know. If there is a projected need at a site let me know its much easier to add a site into the list now then restart the process later for one site. 2. Look at the list of species (attached) I may only generate a subset composed of those desired by any group. Kindly, -Jim
